Regimental Association

Introduction

The Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa (Duke of Edinburgh’s Own) Regimental Association provides continuous and unqualified support to the Regiment thereby assuring the Association’s rightful role as a valuable and viable member of the Regimental Family.

 

It helps uphold the traditions of the Regiment and maintain Regimental esprit-de-corps. It fosters associations and friendships gained throughout the years and promotes comradeship among the members of the Association. It assists and helps comrades to the extent of the capacity of the Association.

 

All members of the Regiment, serving or having served honourably in the Regiment shall be eligible for full active membership in the Association.

 

The Association is also open to any service person, ex-service person, or civilian who has contributed to the betterment of the Association  upon review and acceptance of their application by the executive of the Association.

 

Meetings

Association meetings are held at 1900 hrs on the first Monday of the month except for January and September when they are held on the second Monday.

 

There are no meetings in July and August. Meetings are held in the Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess at Cartier Square Drill Hall. A light supper is served at 1930 hrs.

Annual Dues

Annual dues are capped at $15 (military) & $25 (non-serving) per person. Dues are payable on the 1st of Jan and can be paid in advance for up to five years.

Joining

Complete the form and submit your application, it will be reviewed by the membership committee. Please only pay your initial fee once you have received our membership acceptance notification by email.
