Blazers Company prepares both new soldiers and junior leaders the next stage of their careers, thereby ensuring the future success of the Regiment.
Blazers Company (B-Coy) is focused on Individual Training to prepare members for their next career course. This includes onboarding new members to the Regiment in order to prepare them for their Basic Military Qualification (BMQ), preparing potential leaders for their Infantry Section Commander's Course (ISCC) and preparing members to take on the challenge of becoming recce-qualified infanteers through Basic Recce Patrolman (BRP).

Blazers Company also conducts Individual Training, running priority courses for the Regiment and 33CBG such as BMQ and Infantry Basic Machine Gunner (IBMG).

Supporting the growth and success of junior leaders is a cornerstone of the Regiment's success. By developing the Regiment's most important asset - our people - Blazers Company is ensuring that the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa continue to excel, now and in the future.

B Coy provides support to 33 CBG Battle School with course offering such as:

Basic Military Qualification (BMQ) recruit course,
-
Weapons Det Member (IBMG) course,
-
pre-course training for selected candidates who are about to go on their Primary Leadership Qualification for Jr NCO’s,

Developmental Period 1.1 (Platoon Commander course) for Junior Officers.
The Company also conducts exercises in support of the Regiment and its goals of members achieving their annual Individual Battle Task Standards (IBTS).

The total strength of a Coy is approx. 60 pers all ranks (3* Officers, 10* WO’s and Sr NCO’s, 47* Junior Ranks).

The Company currently parades at the NDMC on Alta Vista Dr location but will be moving to Lancaster Road with an opening date still to be announced.
